The archer is way the most popular troop type in Evony, and that’s cause it’s the best troop there is. The archer outperforms pretty much any combination of troops the enemy can send at you. For attacking archers are pretty awesome also, and in the beginning of a server archers are pretty much the only troop you’ll ever need. Against NPCs you don’t really need any other troops either, apart from ballistae to have 0 losses on the low level NPCs. Archers are pretty quick and cheap to build as well. Read the rest of this post
